Policies

You’re at Sonic-Con to have fun. To make that happen, Sonic-Con has a few policies that are necessary for the safety and comfort of everyone. Please comply so that you and everyone else can enjoy the convention.

Refunds

All sales are final. Full refunds will only be given if the convention is cancelled for any reason.

Children

The convention cannot accommodate children under 8. Children 8-12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

weekend passes

Always have your Sonic-Con pass with you. You will need it to attend any Sonic-Con function, including all daytime and nighttime masterclasses and events. When purchasing weekend passes, age is determined by how old you are by November 16, 2023.

EXHIBITORs

Production companies or individuals wishing to exhibit their family-friendly audio dramas should complete the Exhibitor Request Form. Once approved, exhibitors will be required to sign and return a Facility User Agreement to soniccon20@gmail.com. All Approved Exhibitors are required to purchase a weekend pass. The Exhibition Hall will only feature family-friendly fare (appropriate for ages 8+). If an exhibition or exhibitor displays behavior or materials deemed inappropriate by Sonic-Con, that exhibit will be removed without refund.

Hand-outs

No handing out of anything—including flyers, stickers, or any promotional item—is allowed outside of the Exhibition Hall. Business cards may be exchanged during the convention.

Live Streaming

The usage of live streaming apps and software on any electronic device (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.) is not allowed in any official Sonic-Con program or event room.

Pets

Sonic-Con will not allow animals into the building except for service animals.

Smoking

No smoking is allowed on the campus of Liberty University and at any Sonic-Con event at any time and in any location. No smoking includes traditional cigarettes, pipes, cigars, or E-cigarettes and any vaping product or device. Please comply with this policy; noncompliance may result in ejection from the convention.

video & audio recording

Cameras and recording devices are permitted in program and masterclass rooms but cannot be used to reproduce the presentation and must not interfere with other fans' enjoyment of the presentation. No video recording of performances is allowed at any time. There will be set times for selfie opportunities with guests.

Alcohol or alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the campus of Liberty University and therefore at any of Sonic-Con.

Sonic-Con reserves the right to change or modify any policy or rule at any time and without notice. Non-compliance with the convention policies may result in ejection from the convention.
